Educational Methods and Activities for Volunteer Development:
In order to provide safe and secure learning environments for 4-H youth, Clover County utilizes 16 full time club volunteers, 25 project volunteers, 43 resource or episodic volunteers, and 39 youth volunteers. These volunteer fulfill a variety of roles, from leading clubs, planning and implementing workshops, camps, and school enrichment programs, chaperoning overnight events, and serving in an advisory role to recommend county policy and procedure.
Volunteer

volunteers aware of opportunities for youth and adults.

required for all 4-H chaperones, shooting sports instructors, and camp

order to support the many different delivery methods used to teach life skills,

These volunteers not only work directly with youth, but also serve as
middle managers to help manage various aspects of the 4-H program such as
outreach, fundraising, and marketing. In
order to manage volunteers for program delivery and resource development,
volunteer meetings, trainings/certifications, and consultations are regularly
conducted by the 4-H agent. The agent also works with the volunteers to
coordinate marketing efforts which include community presentations, exhibits,
newsletters, and media relations.
