Using People Plus Content Software

Use the People Plus Content software to push content from your computer to a polycom conference. Content can be anything you can run on your computer such as a PowerPoint presentation or an Excel spreadsheet.
First download
(http://downloads.polycom.com/video/vsx/ppcip/ppcip_1_1_0_8.zip) the software, if you have not already done so.Put a shortcut on your desktop so you don't have to look for it when you are under the pressure of giving your presentation.

Click on Start and select All Programs.

Click on Polycom, and then People Plus Content IP.

Right click on the People + Content IP icon and select Send To and then Desktop
You must already be in the session you wish to push content to before you can use the software.
It is a good idea to bring the software up and enter the IP so you are ready, prior to the session beginning, to press the connect button .
Enter the IP number of your polycom under Conferencing System Address.
Do not put anything in the Meeting Password box!
Once the conference has started press the Connect button.
Press the big arrow to send your desktop.
When you are finished with your presentation either press the Disconnect button or the X in the upper right hand corner to close the software.
Closing the software will not disconnect you from the conference.
