On Wednesday, June 12, 2019 Seminole County (GA) will host their annual Farm Tour. Farm tours are a great way to see what farmers are doing and get a better insight to the agricultural industry. This year, the tour is scheduled to take place from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm EST. The tour will begin at the Seminole County Agricultural Center. The agenda includes stops at crop fields, touring the new SunSouth facility, and touring the American Peanut Growers shelling plant.

Although a free event, preregistration is required to prepare transportation, refreshments, and lunch. Please preregister before 5:00 pm on June 7, by calling the Seminole County Extension Office at 229-524-2326 or by email at uge4253@uga.edu.
