Monday Activities for Sons and Daughters

 

To start our awesome adventure with all the NACAA families we will be taking everyone for an authentic Airboat ride, at Gator Park, in the Everglades National Park. We will explore the unique wetlands and learn about their native inhabitants as professional guides show us a side of Florida you’ve never seen before. Here are a few points for Monday.

We will meet in Oceana B, (rather than Oceana A in printed program) at 7:45-8:00am. There is a chance of rain for Monday. The airboats go rain or shine, so if you have a rain jacket, bring it. Also bring hats, sunglasses, and apply sunscreen.  

• 7:45 am – Son’s and Daughter Gather at the Hilton Oceana B 
• 8:15 am – Depart for Gator Park 
• 10:15 am – Arrive at Gator Park (Air boats) 

• Blue Group 1 – Airboat Tour 
• Blue Group 2 – Airboat Tour 
• Orange Group 3 – Critter Presentation 
• Orange Group 4 – Critter Presentation 
• 11:00am – Groups will switch 

• Blue Group 1 – Critter Presentation 
• Blue Group 2 – Critter Presentation 
• Orange Group 3 – Air boat Tour 
• Orange Group 4 – Air boat Tour 

• 11:45am – Lunch 

• 1:00 pm – Travel to back to West Palm Beach 
• 5:30 pm – Arrive back at at Hilton Oceana B
