Take the Peanut Butter Challenge! Donate jars of unopened peanut butter to local food pantries through your County Extension Office.

Take the Peanut Butter Challenge!  County Extension Offices throughout the Florida Panhandle are collecting jars of peanut butter for local food pantries through November 15.

The Peanut Butter Challenge has officially begun!  From now through November 15th, drop off unopened jars of Peanut Butter to your local UF IFAS Extension office and have that jar matched by a donation of a jar from the Florida Peanut Producers Association.  All peanut butter collected will be given to local food pantries in YOUR communities during Farm City Week.  Every Extension office is a drop off point, but many counties have more than one drop off location, so contact your local UF IFAS Extension Office to determine the closest location to you.  During this time of peanut harvest, let us support our local producers and those in our communities that are in need by generously donating peanut butter for the Peanut Butter Challenge.
