Citrus growers from across the Big Bend and Florida Panhandle, as well as from Southern Georgia and Alabama are invited to attend the 2023 UF/IFAS Cold Hardy Citrus Field Day. The workshop will be held at the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy (155 Research Road, Quincy, FL). Registration begins at 8:15 AM EST with the meeting starting at 8:30 AM and concluding with lunch. The workshop registration fee is $5 and includes educational materials, snacks, and lunch.

This event will feature a demonstration of citrus sap flow monitoring for irrigation management and a tour of the grove at the UF/IFAS NFREC, featuring several new varieties with an in-field discussion. Other topics include controlled release fertilizer management, variety diversification options, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for citrus production.
