The event starts at 10:00 Eastern (9:00 AM Central) at Shenandoah Dairy – 62nd Circle, Live Oak, FL 32060, then follow the signs to the Cool-Season Forage Trial site, ~1 mile away from the headquarters. Following the dairy tour, participants will travel to the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Suwannee County for a round table discussion of what happened this winter and what have we learned from it? Following lunch, there will be a presentation on the cost of fertilization using UF/IFAS recommendations and soil mapping for pastures and hay fields. Following the presentations, the final optional tour offered will take place at the Starling Farms beef cattle operation. – 18712 128th St, Live Oak, FL 32060.
