Stop wasting time and resources trying to wrangle wild weeds with the wrong tactics!

Accurate pest identification is the first step in developing your Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan. Smart phone apps can only get you so far in identification of plants, and many times they are inaccurate. In this class we will take a step back into foundational identification skills – defining leaf shape, arrangement, attachment, stem properties, and flower components. We will also work through using dichotomous keys to identify plant samples in hands-on activities.

Weeds in grass

Do you know how herbicides are processed by plants?

You don’t need to be a botanist or a chemical engineer to use herbicides properly, but understanding some basics about plant function and how they interact with herbicides can help you make better product and application choices.
