We are so excited to welcome you to Florida next week (or the end of this week for some)! Lauren Butler, AMPIC Tour Committee Chair, wanted to send you some information that might help you plan and pack for the tours at the end of AMPIC. Use the following link for helpful tips for each tour, as well as general reminders and information.

One reminder I wanted to draw your attention to is the process of tipping the bus driver or boat captain. Some of you will be experiencing either an airboat or a pontoon ride on your tour. It is customary to tip those drivers. Please pack a couple of extra dollars for those captains, as well as your bus driver.
And one more thing…our weather down here in Florida can be intense. Most of the time it’s steamy and hot. If you are outside longer than 30 minutes, please drink lots of water. It can also rain at any time, so bring a light rain jacket. Most Floridians will tell, if you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes and it will change!
The tour booth will be set up at the conference registration desk. Come by if you have any questions before we take off on Thursday.
