Voting Delegate Breakfast and Session 101

Voting Delegates…this is for you! Be sure and mark your calendars, Yapp app, and/or program booklet and plan to attend the Voting Delegates Breakfast on Monday, July 18th at 7:00 a.m. We will be meeting and eating in the Palm Beach County Convention Center in room 2D,E, & F. Please check in with your Regional Director when you arrive before entering the room as he/she will need to confirm you are on the official Voting Delegate master list as this list will serve as your meal ticket.

The Voting Delegate Session will be held on Tuesday, July 19th at 8:30 a.m. in the Hilton Oceana A. Seating will take place from 8:15 am to 8:30 am. Please check in with your Regional Director when you arrive, and before entering the room as he/she will verify your attendance on the Master Delegate list. You must be seated by 8:30 am otherwise a vote must take place within the Voting Delegate Session to determine if the Delegate body will allow you to be seated for the Delegate Session. So, the morale of this story is don’t be late!

Members and guests, you are welcome to attend and observe the Delegate Session. You must sit in the back of the room, and you do not get to vote. The Voting Delegate Breakfast, however, is for Voting Delegates only.

It’s not too late! If something has come up and your state needs to make a voting delegate change, please notify me (Secretary Strunk) at connie.strunk@sdstate.edu or 605-214-1265. Substitutions may be made anytime up to the start of the Voting Delegate Session. Each Voting Delegate must be verified and confirmed before being officially added to the Voting Delegate list. When you check in with your Regional Director for either the Voting Delegate Breakfast or the Voting Delegate Session, please let them know so we can help make the necessary changes.

To recap, please check in with your Regional Director/s before entering either room (Delegate Breakfast or the Delegate Session) and don’t be late!
