I shared a Florida Agriculture highlight video in the Thursday Issue of Agent Advisor, but unfortunately that was the short version. The following is the full 25-minute video that was shown on each of the Thursday tour buses. Sorry of the confusion, but this one is the real McCoy.
AMPIC participants toured many different types of farms, ranches, and horticulture operations. The Florida agriculture industry is second only to tourism for income for the state. In the video Nikki Fried, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, shares highlights of Florida’s diverse agriculture industry, and the best management practices farmers and ranchers are utilizing to protect Florida’s valuable natural resources.
