Search for Extension Information Nationwide

Ever get frustrated searching for information on agricultural topics?  Typically a Google search provides links to commercial sites, advertisements, and all sorts of websites that don’t have what you are searching for.  While the University of Florida’s fact sheet web site, called EDIS, has excellent information on a wide range of topics, there is also excellent information on the web from the Extension Service in other states.  The challenge many times is knowing where to look. Custom search engine for Cooperative Extension Service publications

The UF/IFAS Center for Public Issues Education’s custom search engine combs the publication websites of almost all Cooperative Extension Services to find relevant science-based, objective information from land-grant universities throughout the country.

The search engine web page allows users to type in keywords to find fact sheets, news releases and related publications from Cooperative Extension Services across the country. If you’re searching a phrase, please consider using quotation marks to ensure more accurate and useful search results. Please note that publications from many of these Extension Service websites are free, while some are fee-based. Because this is a Google Custom Search Engine, paid advertisements related to the keyword search might be listed at the top of the search results.
