I am sure you have seen news stories about the historic flooding in Nebraska and Iowa at the end of March. The farm losses and damage to rural communities are staggering. This week’s featured video, published by Nebraska Farm Bureau, shows how one 5th generation Nebraska farm family was affected, when an 11-foot wall of water and broken ice crashed through their farm and home after a dam broke 30 miles upstream.
Nebraska Farm Bureau established a Disaster Relief Fund to provide emergency aid to Nebraska farmers, ranchers, and rural communities affected by recent storms and flooding. All donations made to the fund are tax-deductible. 100% of the donations will be distributed to Nebraska farmers, ranchers, and rural communities affected by the disasters.
