Friday Feature: Florida Crackers – The Cowboys of Florida

This week’s featured video comes from the archives of author Patrick Smith who wanted to highlight the heritage of cattle ranching in Florida that still lives on today.  You will notice the difference in video quality and the type of graphics used to make this short video.  Patrick Smith authored a classic, historical fiction novel describing the life of Florida Pioneers called “A Land Remembered.”  He also created awareness of Florida’s Cattle Ranching heritage and the link to the modern industry that still remains with the following video called, “Florida Crackers: The Cattlemen and Cowboys of Florida.”
