This week’s featured video was produced bu the University of Kentucky, on their Eden Shale cattle demonstration farm. On this farm they have been evaluating a number of cattle management practices. This particular video shares the work they have done with water systems designed to prevent soil erosion using water troughs made from repurposed large equipment tires. While the Panhandle does not typically have the drastic slopes like Kentucky, some of the concepts shared in the video do have application here.
