This week’s featured video was produced by the Panhandle Ag Extension Team. This video provides a brief overview of the topics discussed at the 2019 UF/IFAS Peanut Field Day, that was held Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the North Florida Research and Education Center, near Marianna, Florida. Topics discussed included variety selection, disease management, weed control, use of cover crops and moisture sensors, and harvest equipment. More than 150 farmers, extension specialists and agents, and industry professionals attended the annual Field Day. The day concluded with a fried catfish lunch prepared and served by the Research Station and Jackson County Extension Service Staff.
