Fall is a busy time of year for agritourism operations all across America. When the air cools, people are looking for fun things to do with their families outside. Many farms around the country are cashing in on this annual quest for outdoor adventure. This week’s featured video was produced by CBS This Morning as Mark Strassmann shares the story of Richardson Adventure Farm in Spring Grove, Illinois that has the worlds largest corn maze. In 2019, the 28-acre corn maze, with 10 miles of trails, celebrated the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 – Man first walking on the moon! In addition to the giant corn maze this farm theme park features a 700′ Zip Line, 50′ Observation Tower, ORBiting! (Ride Inside a Giant, 11′ Ball), Live Pig Races, Jumping Pillows, Giant Slides, Pedal Carts, Wagon Rides, a Pumpkin Patch, Picnic Areas, and Campfires. This is quite and agritourism park.
