Friday Feature: Carlton Family’s Bull Hammock Ranch – Farming Cattle and Water

This week’s featured video is a short documentary highlighting the sixth generation of the Carlton Family who operate Bull Hammock Ranch near Fort Pierce, Florida, that were recognized by NCBA’s Environmental Stewardship Award Program in 2015.   The family converted citrus groves into managed wetlands to farm surface water near Lake Okeechobee.  Check out the video that shares insight into the modern ranch management by one of Florida’s historic cattle families.
