There was a wide range of new and innovative machinery and equipment on display at the recent Sunbelt Ag Expo. One that generated a good deal of excitement was John Deere’s brand new CP 770 six-row Cotton Picker.
According to John Deere, “the all-new CP770 Cotton Picker packs 8% more seed cotton into each bale. The CP770 is 20% more fuel efficient, but is also able to harvest 5% more acres per day than the previous model. The end result is this new picker reduces cost by $1.50/ bale.”
