There were all sorts of innovative machines and equipment on display at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, GA in October. This week’s featured video shows a relatively simple but heavy duty product that is made to last a long time. The Best HaySaver is made of 14 gauge galvanized pipe and mounted on a mining dump truck tire, so it is built to last 30 years. While the $1,450 price tag is steep, compared to less expensive models, the longevity of this product is impressive. The unique design also reduces hay waste by 30%-50% with a corrosion proof base, according to Best Livestock Equipment, as most of the hay pulled off of the bale stays inside the ring instead of out on the ground. Watch the video to see how product is designed to feed hay efficiently for many years.
