This week’s featured video was produced by Florida Farm Bureau to share the story of Clay and Kari Fulford, Jefferson County, who were one of three Florida farms selected as finalist for the 2021 Achievement in Agriculture Award. While they were not selected as the overall award winners (Kevin and Shelby Lussier, Alachua County), I wanted to share their video that highlights this excellent farm family from the Panhandle. Clay is a 4th generation farmer who utilizes technology to protect natural resources, markets green peanuts direct from the farm, and yet also makes time to host school field trips to teach kids about local agriculture. Watch the video that shares the story of Fulford Family Farms.
