This week’s featured video was produced by American Farm Bureau to share the stories of three farm families who love the land and are doing everything they know to do to preserve their farm for future generations. Sustainability has become a buzzword in agriculture, because it focuses on more than just ample production and food supply. Less than 2% of the population in the U.S. are actively engaged in farming, so it is important to share the positive story of what farmers and ranchers are doing beyond crop and livestock production for food. For American farms to stay in business they must remain profitable while also protecting the natural resources of soil and water for future generations. Watch the video to see what three farm families are doing to keep their farms sustainable for future generations.
