One thing that has changed dramatically in our country since 2020 is online sales of consumer products.  This includes direct sales from farms of all types.  The challenge is that much of the technology needed to make online sales work smoothly requires a significant investment of time and resources to build the right tools to make it work smoothly.  A Seattle based company called Barn2Door offers a service to make online food product sales more streamlined.  The company has opened another office in Nashville to provide better services for farms in this part of the country.  They don’t add mark up on the products farms sell, they charge a straight subscription fee to each farm based on the level of service requested. I don’t know that much about this particular company, but I thought it was an interesting concept worth sharing.
