This week’s featured video was published by Farm Innovations to share the story of the Guardian SC1, which is an autonomous drone for crop spraying. The Guardian SC1 is a large, 12′ x 12′ fully electric drone that uses GPS guidance to spray with a 20 foot swath, using a 20 gallon tank that can aerially apply 5 gallons of water per acre. The SC1 is fully autonomous (programmable with no manual control required) machine made in America and built for commercial farm applications. The batteries can be super-charged while the tank is refilled in one minute, allowing it to make ten flights per hour and cover up to 40 acres/hour. Watch the video to hear more about this innovative crop spraying robot drone for aerial pesticide applications.
