This week’s featured video was published by Missouri Extension to highlight some research being done on the use of Sunn Hemp hay.  Dr. Harley Naumann shares the story of sunn hemp planted in July and harvested in September at the Central Missouri Research, Extension and Education Center.  Sunn hemp is a fast growing annual legume that requires limited nitrogen fertilization and can provide higher quality hay than most tropical grass species.  Thanks to Joel Love, UF/IFAS Suwannee Valley REC BMP Coordinator, for sending in this video to share with our readers.
