Farmers from throughout the tri-state area are invited to attend the 3rd annual Panhandle Corn & Soybean Update, on Friday, February 2nd, at the Washington County Agricultural Center, in Chipley FL.

As the name implies, this event will focus exclusively on the production of corn and soybeans (cotton and peanuts will be covered at the Panhandle Row Crop Short Course on March 7th). Specialists from the University of Florida and Auburn University will cover a variety of production related topics.  Representatives from various seed companies will highlight this year’s featured varieties. Presentations will start at 9:45 AM and the event will conclude with a sponsored lunch.

There is no cost to attend the event, but you must RSVP to the Washington County Extension Office (850-638-6180) before 4pm on January 24th to ensure you will get lunch. You are welcome to attend without an RSVP, but lunches will only be ordered for those who RSVP.
