Murilo has worked extensively with row crops like cotton, peanuts, corn, soybeans, small grains. He has experience in soil fertility, weed management, and insect control. His career includes roles in research and development, plus field work in both Brazil and the United States.
Murilo is dedicated to helping local farmers optimize their operations with the application of advanced agricultural techniques. His work focuses on sustainable farming practices, precision agriculture, working with technologies such as drones and satellite imagery.
Murillo said, “The current scenario for some row crops like cotton is tough, with rising input costs and falling prices making it hard for farmers. My goal here is to help improve this situation by bridging the gap between research and the farmers who need it. Introduce new and proven management for all agricultural activities. Helping farmers get the best information is what drives me and keeps me motivated every day.”
