Join us for an educational workshop this fall to learn more about how to evaluate & mitigate forage risk on your operation! This project seeks to increase awareness and adoption of Pasture, Range, and Forage (PRF) crop insurance by cow-calf producers in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The workshops will help producers assess their risk, learn how to cover that risk with PRF, and how to enroll in PRF Insurance. Producers will be provided with materials about the use of PRF and how it fits into their risk management strategy.
The priority of the workshops will be the Who, What, When, Where, Why, & How of PRF Insurance. Producers who attend will learn who qualifies for PRF, why you should use PRF, how to use PRF, and where to go to enroll in PRF. The goal is to help ranchers know what is at risk, when your operation is at risk, how to cover that risk with insurance for your operation, and where & when to enroll in PRF Insurance.
All workshops will be held from 5:30 – 8:00 PM local time. Dinner and educational materials will be provided at no cost to attendees. Find more information about the upcoming workshops and to register to attend the location of your choice by using the following link:
