Join us for the rescheduled Farm Technology Field Day, on Wednesday, November 6th at the UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center (NFREC) in Quincy, Florida. This event will provide three hands-on training opportunities for Tractor Operation, Implement (Sprayer and Seed Drill) Calibration, and Chainsaw Safety. Participants will receive hands on instruction for one of the areas they choose.
Participants of the event must be 18 years of age or older. Space is limited to 20 participants per track for the day. Also, participants will be able to earn pesticide applicator CEU hours for the calibration and chainsaw safety tracks. Approved CEU hours can be earned for one hour of Core and one hour of forest pest, natural areas, ag tree crop, ag row crop, or private applicator categories. The registration fees for the event covers lunch and training materials.
The registration fees for the field day are:
$30 for the implement calibration or chainsaw safety workshops
$50 for the tractor operation training
