UF/IFAS Extension invites all agricultural producers, stakeholders, and community members to the 2025 Farm Day! This year’s event is packed with valuable insights and resources for farmers and ranchers across the region.

What to Expect:

This year’s Farm Day features a lineup of expert speakers and educational sessions, including:

  • Dr. Hardeep Singh – Row Crop Fertility, Timing, and Needs
  • Dr. Ednaldo Borgato – Updates on Weed Management in Peanuts
  • Dr. Silvana Moraes – Insect Identification, Seasonal Occurrence, and Control
  • Dr. Barry Tillman – New and Existing Peanut Varieties
  • Dr. Simerjeet Virk – Precision Ag Technologies and Tools for Row-Crop Management

Why Should You Attend?

Participants will gain valuable knowledge on best management practices, pest control, variety selection, and precision agriculture techniques. The event is tailored to help farmers optimize their operations and make informed decisions for the upcoming growing season.

Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to earn 4 CEUs (Private Applicator and Agricultural Pest Control, Ag Row Crop Pest Control, Demonstration and Research, or Aerial Application)  Lunch will be provided, and registration is free!

Who Should Attend?

The event is designed specifically for Southeastern row crop farmers, particularly those involved in cotton and peanut production, but all agricultural producers are welcome.
