The 2025 Wiregrass Cover Crop Field Day will be Friday, March 21 at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (167 East Alabama Highway 134, Headland, AL 36345). No pre-registration required for this event.
Registration will open at 8:00 am (CST) at the WREC Auditorium. This will be followed by a tour of different research plots and field demonstrations. Several farmer speakers will share their experiences, including successes and failures with cover crops.

Ethan Carter is the Regional Row Crop IPM Agent based in Jackson County. He earned his BS in Food and Resource Economics, and his MS in Agronomy, both from the University of Florida.
