This week’s featured video was published by the Panhandle Ag Extension Team. Bill Conrad, Jackson County, was selected to present at the Perennial Peanut Producer’s Association Field Day, that was held on Friday, June 6, in Marianna. Part of his presentation was a virtual video tour of his farm where he showcased the different varieties of perennial peanut and alfalfa he grows for high quality square baled hay. He also highlighted the specialized equipment he uses to make squared baled hay with minimal labor. Bill and his son Joe were recognized in 2021 as the top quality hay producers in the Southeast. Watch the video to hear Bill tell his story and showcase his more than 20 years of experience in the high quality hay business.
