This week’s featured video was published by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association for their TV show Cattlemen to Cattlemen a decade ago, but it is still funny. Baxter passed away three years ago now, but his legacy lives on through YouTube videos. In this video, Baxter Black (veterinarian, cowboy poet, and comedian) shares a very funny tale about a cocky cowboy, the help nicknamed “Rooster with Spurs.” Old Rooster was totally humbled after assisting a heifer who was having major trouble calving. Watch the video to hear what happened. Almost everyone who has spent any time with cattle in the chute can relate to what happened that day.
