Please join us for the 2nd annual Beginner Beekeeping Workshop Series. The four-session workshop will provide educational training with live demonstrations (weather permitting) to guide people who are interested in starting a small-scale beekeeping operation and more. The first class will be held on Saturday, January 13th, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST, at the Jefferson County Extension Office, located at 2729 W Washington Hwy., Monticello, Florida 32344.

Session 1: January 13 – Introduction to Beekeeping

Session 2: January 20 – Equipment Overview

Session 3: February 3 – Bee Biology & Hive Management

Session 4: February 10 – Review & Live Demonstration (Weather dependent)

The cost is $10 a session, or $30 for the whole series. Space is limited. Refreshments will be provided. It is preferred for participants to attend all four sessions. Utilize the Eventbrite registration site for debit or credit card payments (check only- if paying on site in person).
