The North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy, Florida (155 Research Rd, Quincy, FL 32351) will be hosting an agronomic variety trial field day on Monday, July 22. Registration is free for this event, that will start at 12:00 Noon EST with lunch included. The program will feature talks from industry professionals and then transition to 2-3 hours of field tours.

The event will focus on touring the corn and cotton variety evaluation plots. It is also the 25th anniversary of the sod-based rotation plots at NFREC Quincy and attendees will get to see that area as well. There will be a drone demonstration as well, highlighting its use of precision ag technology. Field day attendees will tour plots looking at 30 irrigated corn varieties and 26 cotton varieties grown in both irrigated and dryland conditions.
