In response to a need for information relevant to citrus growers in the cold hardy citrus growing region (North Florida, South Georgia, South Alabama), the Cold Hardy Citrus Connection newsletter was created. The Cold Hardy Citrus Connection is a quarterly newsletter that is a collaboration between UF/IFAS, UGA and Fort Valley State University Extension Agents. The publication focuses on information relevant to growers in our area. The newsletter also features a section with updates from the Cold Hardy Citrus Association. The newsletter is distributed each quarter via email. If you would like to be added to the newsletter’s e-mailing list, email Danielle Sprague at dsprague@ufl.edu.
The most recent issue of the Cold Hardy Citrus Connection contains articles on Cold Protection, Fruit Movement Regulations, Early Maturing Varieties, Citrus Greening Testing, Upcoming Trainings, and recent activities of the Cold Hardy Citrus Association.
