All beekeepers in Florida are invited to participate in a survey conducted by the UF/IFAS, Food and Resource Economics Department, and the Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory. This survey is part of a project sponsored by the Florida State Beekeepers Association to assess the economic contributions of the beekeeping industry. Published findings will be used by industry leaders, researchers, extension professionals, regulators and policy makers, and will benefit beekeeping through increased public awareness of its economic importance, and justification of continued funding of the Florida Apiary Inspection Service and other state and federal programs.
Your responses in the survey will remain strictly confidential. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
