Farm Credit of Northwest Florida Proudly Announces the Election of Mr. Jacob Gilmore to the Board of Directors.
Jacob Gilmore was born in Pensacola, Florida and has lived in the Molino, Florida area in Escambia County his entire life. Gilmore graduated from Tate High School and attended Pensacola Junior College. He is the Vice President of Finance and Purchasing for Gilmore Services.
Gilmore is a part owner-operator of Gizmo Angus Farm, a 100-cow/ registered Angus herd that utilizen 450 acres of pasture land. The cattle operation sells approximately 25 bulls annually to commercial cattlemen, in addition to selling replacement heifers. In 2021, the cattle operation expanded to include selling freezer beef.
Gilmore previously served on the state leadership board of the Escambia and Santa Rosa County Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee. Additionally, he currently serves on the Escambia County 4-H Foundation Board, and is a member of Escambia County Farm Bureau.

The full Farm Credit of Northwest Florida Board of Directors is comprised of 11 directors, which include 9 member-owners and 2 appointed directors who bring additional expertise to the Board. In addition to those recently elected, the Board includes: Chairperson, Cindy Eade, Vice-Chairman, Mark Fletcher, Board Members, Douglas Walker, Richard Terry, Ernest C. Fulford, David Yoder, Michael W. Thompson, James R. Dean, Glen Strange, and Damon Boutwell.
