Researchers at the University of Florida and University of Georgia are studying producer opinions about agricultural best management practices to help ensure agricultural water security in Southern Georgia and Northern Florida. This research is critical to ensure the future existence, sustainability, and economic viability of crops such as corn, peanut, and cotton in this region.
–
Research from this study will:
1) Provide an understanding of producer preferences for agricultural BMP incentive programs
2) Inform decision-makers about the needs of agriculture producers
3) Help ensure agricultural water security in the region
–
