The purpose of the Mind the Gaps Workshop is to develop conservation solutions to urgent, vulnerable, and irreplaceable gaps in the Florida Wildlife Corridor through collaborative local engagement.

About this event: This workshop will be a a full day of facilitated conversation aimed at advancing and accelerating conservation solutions for the Corridor’s urgent, vulnerable, and irreplaceable gaps in Leon, Wakulla, and Jefferson counties. The morning session will focus on exploring tools that can be used to better inform conservation strategies, while the afternoon session will be an interactive mapping exercise focused on tapping knowledge from local partners to identify opportunities and limitations to closing specific gaps.
There is no fee to participate; lunch is provided.
Who: It is our wish to have representatives participating from as many of the key stakeholders within these gaps as possible. This includes landowners, agriculture representatives, land trusts, planners, developers, and city, county, state, and federal staff from relevant agencies and departments.
